Elizabeth Lewen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University in 1993. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois Law School in 1996. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Elizabeth practiced at a general practice firm in Decatur, Illinois for two years following graduation from law school. She has been with Sherrill Law Offices, PLLC since January of 2002.

Elizabeth is a member of the Society of Minnesota Inventors, Minnesota Women Lawyers, and Illinois State Bar Association.
